Inspired by the Northern lights, he devised slow moving animated lights placed within the sculpture which he programmed into a looped sequence by bouncing these beams which reflected off holographic materials for effect. This cast an internal coloured glow onto a diffused acrylic disc which slowly changed the merging colours bringing the piece to life.
